Vector conversion for embroidery.

Stitch-aware redraws, density-tuned fills, simplified paths. Built for digitizing software, not just the preview window.

Embroidered shield logo with green and charcoal thread in an embroidery hoop

Embroidery conversions ship as stitch-optimized AI + SVG with simplified paths, density zones marked, and pull-compensation applied. We don't digitize (that's your machine's job) — we give your digitizer clean closed paths, no raster fills, minimum node counts, and a plain-text note sheet with recommended stitch angle and density for each zone. Tier 2 left-chest logos at $35. Tier 4 full-jacket back patches at $145.

What you get

Spec sheet, by default.

Every embroidery delivery includes these — no upcharges, no "did you also want the stitch notes?"

File formats
Clean .ai (CC 2018+), .svg, and .eps. One zone per layer, named for the digitizer.
Path optimization
Minimum node count per zone — no stray anchor points, no open paths, no micro-segments under 0.5 mm. Clean input = fewer digitizing errors.
Density zones
Heavy detail zones are separated from fill areas on their own layers. We flag areas where stitches will pile up and suggest splitting or simplifying.
Pull compensation
Paths expanded 0.5 pt by default to compensate for fabric pull. We'll adjust based on your substrate (fleece, twill, piqué) if you note it when you order.
Thread matching
Madeira Polyneon, Isacord, Robison-Anton, or Sulky — specify when you order. Colors called out by thread number on each layer.
Stitch note sheet
Plain-text PDF with recommended stitch angle, density, underlay type, and sequence for each color zone. Written by the designer, not generated.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Do you provide DST or EMB digitizing files?
No — we deliver clean vector paths optimized for your digitizer, not finished stitch files. We're not a digitizing service; we're the step before digitizing. Our job is to give your digitizing software or operator paths that are clean, closed, and free of micro-segments so the digitizing process produces fewer errors.
What thread brands do you match colors to?
We call out thread numbers for Madeira Polyneon, Isacord, Robison-Anton, and Sulky. Specify your brand at order time. Each color zone in your delivery is named with the thread number so your digitizer can set it directly without hunting for a match.
Do you include a stitch count estimate?
Yes. Every delivery includes a plain-text stitch note sheet with an estimated stitch count per zone, recommended stitch angle, density, and underlay type. The estimate is based on your design's complexity and the industry averages for your specified hoop size — it's a starting point, not a guarantee.
Can you handle very small text for embroidery?
Yes, but we'll flag it. Text under 5 mm tall in satin stitch is generally at the limit of what most machines can render cleanly. For small text we simplify letterforms, widen stroke weights, and note where you may want to swap to a run-stitch font or skip embroidering that element entirely. We won't hand you paths that will stitch badly without warning you first.
What's the minimum design size you support?
There's no hard minimum on the vector side — we can redraw very small logos. The practical limit is set by your machine's minimum stitch length and needle thickness, not our artwork. We do flag elements under 8 mm wide in the note sheet and suggest simplifications where the original detail won't survive the hoop.
