How VectorWiz collects, uses, stores, and protects customer data — and how to exercise your rights over it.
VectorWiz collects only the data needed to deliver manual vector conversion: account details, project artwork, PayPal billing references, and minimal usage analytics. Data is stored on Supabase (Postgres + Storage) and Vercel, encrypted at rest, with 60-second signed download URLs. Source files are purged 90 days after delivery; account and ledger data are kept for 7 years for tax compliance. This is a placeholder draft pending legal review.
Overview
VectorWiz (a Gigaverse company) provides manual vector conversion services to production buyers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, where it's stored, and how to exercise your rights over it.
Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to deliver the service:
- Account data: email address, name, company name, optional phone, optional avatar.
- Project data: source artwork you upload, instructions, deliverables we produce, revision messages.
- Billing data: PayPal subscriber id, invoice ids, credit ledger entries. We never see your payment card or PayPal credentials.
- Usage data: minimal analytics (page views, referrer host, UTM tags from marketing campaigns) — used to attribute leads to marketing pages.
Where data is stored
- Database: Supabase (Postgres) hosted in AWS US-West-1.
- File storage: Supabase Storage (S3-compatible) — your source artwork and our deliverables, with signed-URL-only access.
- Application hosting: Vercel.
- Email transit: Resend.
- Payments: PayPal.
Files are encrypted at rest. Download links are short-lived signed URLs that expire 60 seconds after generation.
Data retention
Source files and deliverables are retained for 90 days after order delivery and then purged. Account, billing, and ledger data are retained while your account is active and for 7 years after closure for tax and accounting compliance.
Your rights
Depending on jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email privacy@vectorwiz.com with your request and government-issued ID for verification; we respond within 30 days.
Cookies and trackers
We use one essential session cookie for authentication. We do not use third-party trackers (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.) on the marketing surface. We use first-party privacy-respecting analytics for aggregate page-view counts only.
Children
VectorWiz is a B2B production service. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are emailed to active subscribers; minor updates appear here with a new 'last updated' date.
