VectorWiz redraws raster artwork by hand as production-ready vector files. Per-job prices run $19 to $190 by complexity, standard turnaround is 24 hours, revisions are free, and every file carries a 100% remake guarantee.
The service
- What does VectorWiz do?
- We redraw raster artwork (PNG, JPG, PDF, scans and phone photos) by hand as production-ready vector files for sign, print, embroidery, laser and CNC work. In-house designers do every job. How it works.
- Is my file auto-traced?
- No. Auto-trace follows pixels and leaves stray nodes, open paths and merged colors. A designer redraws every file as clean, closed shapes. Why a hand redraw beats auto-trace.
- Do you also do image editing, logo design or embroidery digitizing?
- No. VectorWiz does one thing: manual vector conversion. For embroidery we deliver clean vector paths that your digitizer turns into the stitch file. Our services.
Ordering and files
- What can I send you?
- PNG, JPG, HEIC, WebP, TIFF, BMP, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD. A phone photo of a printed sign is fine. If the source is too damaged to redraw faithfully, we say so before starting. Upload a file.
- Do I need an account to order?
- No. You can upload, see your price and check out as a guest. An account keeps your order history, the revision thread and your downloads in one place. Start an order.
- Which files do I get back?
- Layered AI, EPS, SVG and PDF on every order, at no extra charge. DXF, PDF/X-1a and color separations are made on request for your machine. Vector file formats explained.
- Which file should I send my printer or sign shop?
- It depends on who receives it: a vinyl cutter needs closed vector paths, a laser shop wants DXF or SVG at 1:1, and a DTF printer is fine with a high-resolution PNG. Which file to send, by who is receiving it.
Price and turnaround
- How much does it cost?
- Per job, by complexity, across four tiers: $19 to $190. You see the price when you upload, before checkout. There are no setup fees and no charge for revisions. Pricing.
- How is my tier set?
- When you upload, the complexity estimator sets the tier and price from the number of colors, curve complexity, source quality and whether re-illustration is needed. You approve it before any billable work starts. The four complexity tiers.
- How long does it take?
- Standard turnaround is 24 hours. Rush is 12 hours for 50% more, and Flex is 3 business days for 10% less. You choose per order at checkout. Turnaround options.
- Do you offer monthly plans?
- Yes. Shops that send regular work can use a monthly credit plan instead of paying per job. Plan credits reset at each renewal, and you can buy top-up packs if you run out. Plans and credits.
Revisions and the guarantee
- What if the file is not right?
- Revisions are unlimited and never charged for. Raise it in the order's revision thread and it gets corrected. How it works.
- What if the file doesn't work on my machine?
- Every job carries a 100% remake guarantee. If a delivered file doesn't print, cut or stitch correctly, send us the failure and we redraw it at no charge. Customer reviews.
Vector basics
- What is a vector file?
- A file made of points and curves instead of pixels, so it scales to any size without blurring and can be cut, printed or stitched. What is a vector file?.
- Is a PDF a vector file?
- Sometimes. A PDF exported from design software holds vector paths; a scan or photo saved as PDF is still pixels. Which file types are vector.
- Is your vectorizer really free?
- Yes. It traces your image in your browser and lets you download the auto-traced SVG with no signup. It shows where auto-trace breaks; the hand redraw is the only paid step. Try the free vectorizer.
