Gradient crest, made stitch-ready.
Soft gradients no needle can read — converted into clean color zones with stitch-aware geometry, Madeira thread pairings, and digitizing notes for the operator.

North Shore Embroidery's crest source relied on soft gradients that don't digitize cleanly. VectorWiz converted the artwork into three stitch-aware color zones with Madeira thread pairings and operator notes, delivering a 14,820-stitch file in 14 hours.
The job
North Shore Embroidery needed a crest digitized for embroidery on a cap. It was a Tier 3 job that came down to one question: how do you stitch artwork that was never drawn for thread?
The problem with the source
The source crest relied on soft gradients — smooth tonal blends that no needle can read. Thread lays down as discrete fills, not gradients, so the artwork can't be digitized cleanly until those blends are resolved into distinct, stitchable areas of color.
What we did
We converted the gradient artwork into three clean color zones with stitch-aware geometry — shapes built to fill correctly on a machine rather than just look right on screen. Each zone was paired to a specific Madeira thread color, and we wrote digitizing notes so the operator could run the file without guessing intent.
The production result
The delivered file ran 14,820 stitches across three color zones, turned around in 14 hours — inside our 24-hour standard — complete with Madeira thread pairings and operator notes. The gradients that couldn't be stitched became defined zones the cap could actually carry — stitch-ready, not just on-screen-ready.
Specialised for the way your shop runs
Production buyers don't need a generic vector — they need files that drop straight into the next step in the workflow.
